DEGIRO shows you a green number, not your real return. Create a free account, import your Account Statement and see your true time-weighted return — currency handled, benchmarked against the market. No broker login; the file is read on our server and not stored.
We price US-listed holdings and European shares that also trade in the US (like ASML or Shell). Other European listings and UCITS ETFs aren’t priced — they’re shown by name and left out of your return.
No broker login. Read-only export. After you sign up, your file is sent to our server over an encrypted connection, read in memory and not stored; the holdings and transactions from it are saved to your account (stored in London, UK). ISIN codes are looked up with OpenFIGI.
Sign up, then import your DEGIRO Account Statement (Rekeningoverzicht) over your full history. Your portfolio is saved to your account.
DEGIRO shows your account value and a Total P/L in euros, plus realised and unrealised P/L per position. Its help pages don’t describe a time-weighted return — so if you turn that profit into a percentage, the timing of your own deposits quietly flatters or punishes it — nor a separate currency figure or a benchmark. StockDashes rebuilds the time-weighted return from the one file DEGIRO already gives you — for US-listed holdings and European shares that also trade in the US.
Inbox → Rekeningoverzicht (Account Statement). Set the range to your full history, not just the last year — a partial export makes the return wrong. Export as XLSX.Using Saxo? Use your Saxo transaction export instead — the Dutch-language XLSX file with the Transacties sheet.

We parse it: ISINs resolved, deposits split from trades, historical FX applied, same-day trades ordered.

Time-weighted return vs benchmark, per-position P&L, and an AI research brief on every holding.

Not as a time-weighted return. DEGIRO shows a Total P/L in euros since you opened your account, plus realised and unrealised P/L per position; its help pages don’t describe a time-weighted return, a separate currency figure or a benchmark. StockDashes computes those from your Account Statement — for US-listed holdings and European shares that also trade in the US.
Partly. European shares that also trade in the US — ASML, Shell, Unilever or Heineken, for example — are priced from that US line (the same shares, or a US ADR at its published ratio) and converted to euros; we say so next to the price. Other European listings and UCITS ETFs such as IWDA or VWCE are shown by name but left out of the return. The performance page says how many positions were left out.
Yes. The account is free, with no paid plan: sign up, import your Account Statement and see your real return, with AI research on every holding.
The Account Statement (Rekeningoverzicht), exported over your full history as XLSX. It already contains your trades, dividends, fees and deposits — it’s the only file you need.
After you sign up, your file is sent to our server over an encrypted connection, read in memory and not stored; the holdings and transactions from it are saved to your account (stored in London, UK). ISIN codes are looked up with OpenFIGI. Prices come from Financial Modeling Prep. There is no broker login, and deleting your account deletes your portfolio and its imported transaction history.
A return that splits your history at every deposit and withdrawal and links the pieces, so the timing of your own contributions can’t flatter or punish the result. It measures how your decisions performed — the number worth comparing to an index.
